Simple 'Spotless Skin' Cleansing Wipes and Moisturiser Review

Today I am going to be reviewing some of the 'Spotless Skin' products from the Simple Skincare range.

Firstly, the Spotless Skin Anti-Blemish Moisturiser is something I came across while looking for a new everyday moisturiser. I normally like to try a different range of moisturisers so I can see what works best for my skin. Naturally when I saw that Simple had a moisturiser for spot prone skin, I jumped right on it. I love Simple products, even when they aren't in the spot reducing range. I was not let down by this moisturiser at all. I was worried with all the spot fighting ingredients that it would totally dry out my skin and cause flaking. Luckily for me it does completely the opposite. It leaves my skin nice and soft as well as reducing redness on any blemishes I have.

With all the added hormones I have with stopping breast feeding and not sleeping I have had so many break outs I felt like a hormonal teenager (there is nothing wrong with being a hormonal teenager, it's just not practical for a mum of 2 in her 20's to feel like one). I would totally recommend this product of you are struggling with the fight against spots. With a good cleansing/toning/ moisturising routine (using the spot fighting moisturiser) your skin should clear up considerably! ( I have also used the Simple Facial Cleanser and Facial Toner before and love them, I'm not reviewing them today though so I won't ramble on about them!).

Secondly, the Spotless Skin Quick Fix Cleansing Wipes. I like using these wipes just throughout the day when I get a bit hot and if I don't have time to wash my face before doing something (like making the kiddies breakfast and school run, don't worry I wash my face when Jay has his morning nap if I haven't had time before). I think they totally compliment the moisturiser when used first. The wipes themselves have a nice scent to them, to me they smell 'clean', which is always a bonus.

So these are just a couple of the things available from the Simple 'Spotless Skin' range. I'm very tempted to go and grab a few more of their products so I can have beautiful skin. If you want to shop for the Spotless Skin range I will add a link at the bottom so you can have a browse for yourself.

Let me know if you try any out and if they worked for you.

Throwback Thursday: Perfect in Purple!

I chose this picture for my Throwback Thursday this week purely because its one of the only pictures of me and Daryl at a some what 'formal' event. We don't go to weddings or anywhere fancy too often so it's nice to get dressed up and take some pictures looking fancy together. This was taken at my nephews christening back in August 2012. For some reason we both ended up in purple, which was a complete accident btw, however we both refused to change our outfits as we had had them planned out for weeks.

I hoped you enjoyed this little post. It's always nice to look back at happy memories and share them with people!

Not Feeling Bikini Ready?

Not feeling up to prancing about in a bikini this year? Don't worry! I have a solution for you! I have picked out 6 awesome swimsuits for you to wear this summer. Who says swimsuits are boring and old ladyish? I certainly don't think so with these lovely picks!

I'm looking forward to the warmer weather so I can wear some of these pieces! I have recent picked myself up a new swimsuit to go with my new 'mummy' body. It will be featured in next weeks 'Haul Week' posts! Keep your eyes peeled!

Throwback Thursday: Ladies on a Log!

I love looking through old photographs. They hold so many great memories. So I thought every so often I would do a 'Throwback Thursday' post for you guys of stuff that I did before the days of blogging.

This was in the Summer Holidays before Keira started nursery. She had only just turned 3 and was still discovering the world. We took her up to the big woods near where we live so she could explore and run off some energy. We saw some deer and lots of squirrels too! Every so often we would stop to take some pictures of things she got excited about. I think this was the 'i need a rest log'. I love this picture so much. She was trying to tell me about something she had seen and I was trying to look at what she was talking about while trying to pose for the picture at the same time! She is growing up so fast and not much is 'amazing' to her anymore. Hopefully we will be able to find new things to do that will make her excitable again. Ohh how I can't wait for the teen years when its all 'mum just leave me alone', not. I wish you could pause them at a particular age and enjoy it for as long as you want!

Organising My Vanity Table!

It's been such a long time since I sorted out the junk that I had hoarded in my vanity. I literally had batteries and screws in there, which is not what I want in my vanity. It's the only place that is 100% mine. Nobody else uses the vanity so I can be selfish with how I want it looking and what goes into it. I threw out so much junk it was quite surprising even for me. But now I have a well organised vanity where I know where everything is and that it is all in good condition! So I will show you the before pictures below!

As you can see they were all a complete mess and I just couldn't take it anymore. So after going through all my products and getting rid of whatever I really wasn't using, I finally began to organise. I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out. Hopefully I will keep it this way! Here are the after pictures!

I hope you liked this post. It's something a little different from my usual posts and I love a good nose on how other people organise their spaces so I thought I would share mine too!

May 2014 Goals!

I have decided that every month, at the beginning I will be setting me some small goals to achieve. After having my second child it's been so hard to keep a constant routine going where I can get what I need doing, done. My partner works full time so it's not very often I get time during the daylight hours to get a 'to-do' list done. So I'm going to make time to get my goals done every month!

Goal 1. Finish reading my book. I've been reading the same book since last year because I just haven't made time to sit down and finish it. So hopefully I can get it done!

Goal 2. Have at least 2 baths a week. Before you take that the wrong way I do shower! But nothing is more relaxing than having a nice soak in the tub which I don't find much time for anymore. It's normally just a quick jump in the shower get everything washed and shaved as fast as possible and then get out and get back to the kids. Relaxing soak in the tub please!

Goal 3. Try and lose 2 pounds but the beginning of June. I did start a diet at the beginning of the year but I have completely lost motivation. Especially since it has just been Easter. So much Chocolate! Hopefully I will be able to do some more exercise as well. I seem to be having enough to stay awake a bit longer at night time now so I can squeeze a little something in before bed.

So those are my 3 goals for this month. It doesn't seem like a lot but when trying to squeeze in extra things with two kids to look after, is never easy. Fingers crossed I can get stuff done and carry on setting goals for myself each month.
