My First YouTube Vlog!

Hello again! Yesterday I posted my very first vlog. I'm so glad I've finally started my channel. I've been thinking for months about joining the YouTube community and now I have! The vlog is about going to the 'Switch On' of our towns Christmas lights! It was a lovely day regardless of the weather. My little girl, Keira, really enjoyed going (it was the first time she has ever been to something like this). Since I started suffering from my anxiety back in 2009 I never managed to make it out to events like this and it felt like Keira was missing out. To be able to take her out and watch something like this has made me feel so much more confident! I can't wait to see what the new year will bring me and my little family!

Beginning a YouTube channel

Wow. Seriously well done to people with successful YouTube channels. I've been trying to start mine for a little while now but nothing seems to be working out. I will still be trying don't get me wrong, I just need to find a way to begin in a way that I'm happy with. It's the same as beginning a blog. How do you know what people what to read/see? How do you know what you're doing is said/sounds correct? There is a lot of pressure to get things right the first time around but hey, if we never made mistakes how would we learn? So I will be trying my best to get things right but you'll just have to put up with me until then ;)
